Instant Pot Lasagna Soup


Oh my goodness! You HAVE to try this Instant Pot recipe! It’s super simple and absolutely delicous! It’s kid approved! And I  am using this recipe to wow my parents tonight with their first Instant Pot experience! 🙂

Grab the ingredients you’ll need and get ready for a simple meal! 🙂

Turn the Instant Pot to Sauté and allow it to heat up. Add 2 TBSP of oil. Add onion and garlic and sauté 2-3 minutes.

Add the Italian Sausage or ground beef and brown it.

Next add the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT for the cheese, and stir.

Close the lid, turn the venting knob to sealing and Cook on HIGH pressure for 5 minutes.

 

When it’s finished, Quickly release the pressure, then add the cheese and stir. *Optional- add a spoonful of ricotta cheese when serving!

Ingredients

 

-1 lb Italian sausage or ground beef

-8-10 lasagna noodles broken up

-1 Jar of Homemade pasta sauce (24 oz)

-2 Cups water or chicken broth

-1/2 onion chopped

-3 cloves garlic minced

-1 can diced tomatoes

-1 Cup shredded parmesan cheese

-1 Cup shredded mozzarella cheese

-1/2 tsp Sea salt

-1/2 tsp pepper

-1 TBSP Italian Seasoning

-1 TBSP olive oil

Directions

1.Turn the Instant Pot to Sauté and allow it to heat up. Add 2 TBSP of oil. Add onion and garlic and sauté 2-3 minutes.

2.Add ground beef or Italian sausage and brown. Drain grease.

3.Add the rest of the ingredients except for the cheese and stir.

4.Close the lid, turn the venting knob to sealing and Cook on HIGH pressure for 5 minutes. Quickly release the pressure. Add the cheese and stir. *Optional- add a spoonful of ricotta cheese when serving!
